Covid-19 Delays Paperback Release

It is with deep regret  I have to share the news that the summer paperback release of Daughter of the House, has been delayed.  It was due to be released in June/July of 2020, but due to the Covid-19 pandemic, and subsequent lockdown of bookshops, paperback sales temporary plummeted. This resulted in books remaining on the shelves of shops and warehouses, causing, I assume, a bottleneck as the print deadlines of summer books approached. Unfortunately, Daughter of the House was one of them.

The plan is to release it as a paperback next year, however I think we have all come to understand that it is difficult to stick to any plan at the moment due to the volatile nature of coronavirus cases rising and falling so suddenly. I know my publisher, Choc Lit, is doing all they can to bring this Cornish Tale to you in paperback. The new proposed date for its release is 26th June, 2021. I will let you know if this date is brought forward, which I very much hope it is. Fortunately, it is still available as an audiobook and an ebook.
