Announcement: The Thief’s Daughter is a Contender for the Joan Hessayon Award!

Today the Romantic Novelists’ Association has announced the contenders for the Joan Hessayon Award and I am delighted to say that my debut novel with Choc Lit, The Thief’s Daughter, is one of them!

The Thief’s Daughter is one of an eleven strong  list of authors whose debut novels have been accepted for publication after passing through the Romantic Novelists’ Association’s New Writers Scheme. Membership of the scheme is highly sought after as only 250 places are offered to unpublished writers writing in the romance genre each year. Continue reading

The Choc Lit Tour Kicks Off!

The Choc Lit Tour Bus

This month saw the start of the Choc Lit Tour of England. The Choc Lit “bus” will stop at various towns and cities over the next few months. Each event will consist of a panel of Choc Lit authors sharing their experiences of becoming published writers, followed by an informal question and answer session. There will also be an opportunity for aspiring writers to pitch their manuscripts to the Choc Lit editor in attendance. There will also be chocolates, a goody bag to take away and a chance to chat and mingle in an informal atmosphere. Continue reading
